LA Colors Color Craze Polish Review

LA COLORS: COLOR CRAZE
COCKTAIL & CONFETTI

While waiting in line to pay for my stuff I noticed the L.A. Colors Nail Polish display and just had to stop and look. I love L.A. Colors polish because they're only $1 and they definitely hold their own against their more expensive competition. I'm all about glitter right now so picked up to really cute and fun glitter polishes.

The first I grabbed was Cocktail which is a cute shimmery pink. It has small pale pink glitter with holo glitter thrown in with a very sheer pink base. I used it by itself and with a very bright hot pink by OPI. Even on its own it looked super cute and shimmery. I loved it more on top of the hot pink though as it really gave it a chance to really pop!

The second was Confetti and it has larger sized glitter in 4 different colors. It has red, white, blue, and a pinkish purple. Then you have smaller glitter in red white and blue with a clear base. It was very easy getting the larger sized glitter onto my nail. There have been other polishes where I had to fight to get the bigger sized where I wanted them. Not so with Confetti, it only took 2 coats to cover my nails with both sizes of the glitter.

You should definitely head out and find some L.A. Color polishes of your own. They're super affordable at only $1 a pop, and they have pretty average wear at 3 days. If you find an awesome base coat and top coat then you're good to go! I really suggest getting Seche Vite because I found it really helps all your polishes go that extra mile.

Orchid Polishes Review

ORCHID POLISH
#191 HE LOVES ME... I LOVE HIM NOT
#205 TEAL ME A SECRET

So this week HEB had a store sale on Orchid Nail Polish. They were buy one get one free so how could I not jump on the opportunity to get two polishes for $4.97? So I ended up with a beautiful deep dark blue and a glittery pink.

The first polish is #191 He Loves Me... I Love Him Not which is the glittery pink polish. The only thing is it isn't just pink glitter, its got red and black glitter mixed into the shimmery pink based. This gives it a very unique look, the mixture gives it a metal look to it. It was hard to get a good photo of this pink polish, which I am finding all pink polishes are a challenge. In the photos the black glitter looks huge but the are very small in person.

The next polish was #205 Teal Me A Secret which is a dark blue green polish with a touch of shimmer. In the photos it appears much more blue than it really is. The polish is very smooth and went on quickly. Its a beautiful teal color and looks just beautiful.

You can buy Orchid Nail Polish at most HEB grocery stores and they all go for about $4.97 each bottle. I own a few and they are all very good quality. They go on easy and smooth and last for around 4 days.

WNW Fergie Polish

WET N WILD FERGIE
HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME

Wet N Wild Fergie's "Hollywood Walk of Fame" polish is a star glitter polish. It has different colored stars as well as confetti glitter. It has a very thick base which made it kind of hard to deal with. It is packed with the star glitter, it's just a bit difficult getting the stars to go where you want them to. Because of that I just got a toothpick and literally picked the stars out of the polish. It was a bit messy, but not too much.

The first coat was basically me picking out the stars and where I wanted them to go. The second and third coat was just for getting the extra glitter added on. I did pick out any extra stars that happened to come out. I really do like the way it looks, just wished that maybe there were smaller stars as well. I think if they were smaller then they would have come out easier. Either way for $3.99 it was a huge bargain and it is still super cute!

This is a perfect polish for a really cute girly polish. This is "Hollywood Walk of Fame" over NYC's "Classic Coral Creme". Isn't it super cute and totally 80's?? Seriously I see that picture and I think of that one cartoon series, Gems.

China Glaze Polish Review - "Some Like It Haute"

CHINA GLAZE
SOME LIKE IT HAUTE

So once I bought my first China Glaze polish - Ruby Pumps, I knew more would be following. Well here is my second polish and it's called, "Some Like It Haute". Well I can't really understand why they named it that because when I saw it, I thought of something else. Like glitterific rainbow, twilight shine, or anything other than Some Like It Haute, but I'm sure they have their reasons.

Anyway I have to say this is one of my favorite polishes now, well at least till the next bottle. It has a grey-ish black base with fine colorful glitter. This polish definitely sparkles so it would go perfect with an understated outfit. It brings so much bling and I love it! It is so jam packed with glitter that the polish is a bit thick. I just plopped the polish on and worked backwards taking off excess to make it smooth. While it has a lot of glitter it because they aren't huge I only needed 2 coats of my new Seche Vite top coat to make it completely smooth. I'm thoroughly impressed with the range of colors you get from this polish. I think it could even work over a solid colored polish for some extra oomph.

What do you guys think? Do you have this polish? What is your favorite polish right now?
