Sinful Colors "Call You Later" Polish Review

This was my second polish that I ended up pairing with "Kissy". Call You Later is a glitter polish  which happen to be one of the trends going on right now. Well really you can't have too many glitter polishes. Glitter polishes are fun and just a bit girly. So the first photo shows Call You Later on its own. That is two coats although I'm sure if I did one more coat it would have been more opaque. The glitter is green. light green, and some yellow/gold. 

When I was looking at it the thought hit me. Why not pair it with Kissy? Well I'm glad I did because it looks amazing. The blue really makes the glitter sparkle and stand out. I think later I'll pair it with different colors but for now I'm very happy with the pairing. I did two coats of Call You Later on Kissy, but it wasn't too much that the blue was completely covered. It went on smoothly and easily and because the glitter is fine its pretty smooth. I didn't need to cover it too much with top coat to smoothen it out like with other glitter polishes.

I don't have many Sinful Colors polishes and I honestly don't know why. They are super duper affordable and are pretty comparable to more expensive brands. I bought this along with "Call You Later" both for under $2. Yup I paid less than $2 for both of the polishes and I'm a happy, happy gal. 

So now on to the polish itself, the color is very hard to take a picture of. I tried inside and outside, bright light, yellow light, natural light and not close enough. The blue has so much more depth than I captured with my camera. It has a medium blue base with shimmery blue and hints of green that creates a "chameleon" type look. Seriously all I could get was the shimmer to show up so I'll have to try to add some more photos. 

The polish went on smoothly and easily and hasn't chipped yet, and I washed dishes too! Seriously if anything ruins a manicure its washing dishes with scrubbers running over the polish to hot water, well if it lasts then its good polish in my book. While the color isn't too unique I didn't have anything like it in my collection. So head on over to Walgreens and get some for yourself to try out. I believe they are $1.99 right now but they often go on sale. 

Let's get a little personal

So I'm going to give you a glimpse into my life off of the computer. Some of you may know, but most of you don't know that I deal with anxiety and depression. About 2008 I was first diagnosed with general anxiety/ depression. Since then it has gradually gotten worse, but I'm dealing with it day by day. That's basically all you can do is go day by day and just hope that things will go smoothly. Today is turning out to be a hard day. Having dealt with my little breakdowns for years now I can tell when they're going to come. I was looking forward to having some fun games today, but my body and mind is saying nope. Right now I am fighting off the tears and trying to keep breathing. Its not easy to admit to people that I cry and sometimes feel like I can't control myself. I know I'm not alone and have found many, many people around me actually deal with anxiety and depression themselves.

So what do I do when I'm feeling yucky...? I just let it happen which is actually pretty hard to do. One side of my brain is saying nope, you're fine and nothing is wrong. The other side though is saying, "OH NOES THE WORLD IS ENDING!! YOU'RE DYING, WE'RE ALL DYING, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE." I deal with this on a daily basis and just hope that it'll all go smoothly and I'll make it out okay. That's the kicker in order to deal with anxiety you need to face it head on. Let it take over and then slowly work your way back down so you know that you can control it. Also medications are needed as they also help to keep you balanced so you don't have to crash and burn as much as you would without them.

This website is one of the ones that I frequent and it has helped me with general information. Its called, IAMPANICKED and it's a great source to all kinds of info for anxiety and depression. I hope everyone understands why I get in funks and disappear. I'm really not trying to neglect you, I just don't have the mental drive at that time.
So there ya go...and now that I've typed a bit about it, I do feel a bit better.
